As the USL League One season gets underway, there is still quite a bit of uncertainty regarding fans in stadiums. Most USL League One clubs have announced stadium capacity limits for their initial slate of matches. Yet almost all are guaranteed to expand those numbers if COVID-19 case rates and hospitalizations improve during the coming months.
Just like the USL Championship stadium capacities, some teams have already shared that they will reassess stadium capacity limits before each match, as most teams are dependent on their respective city and county government protocols.
So while these percentages will likely change by summertime, we compiled the latest USL League One stadium capacities from each of the clubs.
|Chattanooga Red Wolves SC||TBD (Projects at 25%)||The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga was allowed to host its final football games with 25% capacity so we expect its USL team to mirror that.|
|Fort Lauderdale CF||44%||While the attendance numbers likely won’t reach the limit, the stadium capacity will be the same as its parent club, Inter Miami CF.|
|Forward Madison FC||20%|
|Greenville Triumph SC||50%|
|New England Revolution II||12%|
|North Carolina FC||23%|
|North Texas SC||TBD (Projected at 50%)||Their parent club is operating at 50% capacity although most people will have seen the images from the Texas Rangers game at full capacity in the same stadium.|
|South Georgia Tormenta FC||33%|
|Toronto FC II||N/A||With travel restrictions still in place in Canada, Toronto FC II will be playing home matches in Arizona and Florida until the summer.|
